What we do

We provide sought-after consultancy services to in the areas of Strategic Governance, Effective Management, Project Development and Financial Administration. We are experienced in working across the public sector, private sector and charitable sector.

Previous projects include business and charity formation, business development, specialist project planning through to launch, co-ordination and expansion, event management and production, feasibility studies, skill searches, recruitment and disciplinary matters. Our financial administration can include bookkeeping, payroll services, fundraising, legacy-fundraising, budgeting and forecasting.

Our partners have over thirty-five years of combined experience working in, for and with a number of schools, charities, churches and businesses and government departments in the UK and overseas.

How we work

Savage Nine Ltd will work with you to suit your needs. If you have a project you want to get going, your staff are already at their capacity or without the relevant skills to bring change or a new dimension to achieving your goals, we can help.

We currently serve around twenty organisations of various sizes and in different capacities. Our clients vary in their set-up and include Sole-Traders, Partnerships, Limited Companies, Churches, Registered Charities and Registered Charitable Companies as well as those just starting out with an exciting idea.

Who we are

Savage Nine Ltd has two Directors who are a husband-and-wife team:


Matt Savage Cert. H.E. Middx.; B.A. (Hons) Westmin.

Matt works in business and charitable sectors serving in various Directorships and as a Charity Trustee. He has a BA (Hons) in Architectural Design and a Certificate of Theological & Pastoral Studies. He oversees our Governance, Strategy and Development areas. Matt was listed in Who’s Who of Britain’s Business Elite - Business Leaders in 2010, 2011 & 2012 and in Who’s Who of Britain’s Business Elite - Young Business Leaders in 2010. He is also a volunteer for other organisations including the Scouts, receiving a District Commissioners' Award in 2021.


Ruth Savage B.B.A. (Hons) Lancs, MICB PM. Dip.

Ruth specialises in charity finance and has a BBA (Hons) Management degree, is a qualified bookkeeper and payroll administrator and is a Member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (MICB PM. Dip). She oversees our Financial Services area and is also a Charity Trustee.

Savage Nine Ltd works with the input of other professionals as needed.

Our history

Formed in London as a partnership in 2009, moving to Essex in 2016 and incorporated as a limited company in early 2020, Savage Nine Ltd continues to go from strength to strength. We have worked with many different organisations to help them meet their goals.
